Here’s one person’s neurotic corn-eating habit:
Corn on the cob
I have to eat my corn on the cob one row at a time, making sure to get the entire kernel off the cob. Interestingly, my best friend also does the same thing.

Here’s one of my own: I often must verify that I locked the front door mere seconds after I have done so. And then, once I’m a few blocks from the house, I will start to wonder if I in fact locked the door.
Ooo yeah we may not want to delve into this one much, but 1) I can’t stand to touch or sometimes even look at cotton balls and 2) I can’t watch Christmas movies, or movies with Christmas themes in them any other time than late Novemeber, December. Yep.
I share your Christmas theme aversion. Cotton balls? I’m ok with them … but I can understand texture issues.
We’re such weird creatures, we humans.
Thanks to this post, I found someone else who has my same aversion to odd bumps and patterns. Coincidentally, her neurosis is so bad, she can’t even *look* at corn on the cob.
