I think the wheezer is a bird. I also think that cc skiers should be awarded accolades(?) when they fall. It seems like that is really the actual point of sliding around on snow with no way to stop quickly. I have had some of my most intense full horizontal super biffs on cc skis. No, I wasn’t doing a 360 frontside tree limb grind just going down a small incline. It would probably work better if I used the poles as skis. That’s why I want to learn how to do the telemark. I will actually get some credit for busting my ass.

A bird? Well, it sounds like an amused asthmatic bird. I’m glad that animals can get such a kick out of our weird winter pursuits.
